There has been more than a “moment” for the Nike Dunk since 2018 in all its forms. However, despite the claims of certain sneakerheads, there is no disputing that the model has attracted an unprecedented number of buyers owing to the endorsements from Travis Scott and the late-Virgil Abloh.
The Nike SNKRS app has introduced a vast collection of Nike Dunk Low and Nike Dunk High pairs for May. As if that weren’t enough, NIKE, Inc. is bringing back its “Panda” Dunks for a second time, despite the growing sentiment that the shoe has become “basic” due to its popularity among extremely casual consumers; the women’s-exclusive “Pink Prime” high-top is first seen in April is also returning, adding to the string of universally-beloved styles only made for women from NIKE, Inc.’s catalog. Nike Dunks Releases haven’t included any Nike SB products, although that might change at a later date. In spite of this, the skate-obsessed imprint continues to produce engaging arrangements to Peter Moore’s 37 years of creation still in the imprint’s hands.
All seven Nike Dunks announced for a Nike SNKRS release in May, starting on May 4th, are shown below in official photographs. A delay or postponement of the May Dunks is possible, as has happened in the past with previous Swoosh releases throughout the last six months.
