As a result of the tragedies at Astroworld, Travis Scott was swiftly ostracized by the media and his fans alike. While La Flame’s upcoming collaborations with Nike, such as the Air Max 1 and Air Trainer 1, have been postponed indefinitely, Nike has said little. Moreover, some may argue that it’s too early for the artist’s return to prominence, but Nike disagrees as Nice Kicks reports that these shoes will be available in May.
This month, both Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 and Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 silhouettes will be available in two colorways each. La Flame’s “Baroque Brown” and “Saturn Gold” make-ups will meet Tinker Hatfield’s beloved runner, which has been customized with backward Swooshes and outdoors-themed webbing. High-top trainers designed by Hatfield are being customized with “Wheat” and “Grey Haze” palettes, both of which feature zippers across the heel and co-branded patches, among other things.
