Despite Nike’s apparent preference for the clean, leather-based colorways of the Nike Dunk Low, the Swoosh has been gradually releasing themed iterations, such as Setsuban-honoring iterations and now the Nike Dunk Low Fur & Bling.
The pair ushers in an opulent 1970s aesthetic, complete with retro-styled logos on the back and the ubiquitous brown and green of the era’s fashion. With the back logo and matching colors, the fur and lace bling screams 1970s excess. The brand uses high-quality materials like a furry lining in the quarter panels, debossed tongue tags, and leather or suede overlays and buttons at the lateral ankle. The sole unit is white and gum and is attached to the shoe with contrasting thread.
