Nike can’t seem to get away from the “BE TRUE TO YOUR SCHOOL” pack, donning the Dunk Low in Michigan, St. Johns, and Kentucky’s famed two-toned palettes. And now, some two years after their last homage, the company is expressing its passion for the Wildcats again, albeit with a few additions and colorway modifications.
Most noticeably, the blue in the Nike Dunk Low “Kentucky” appears to be a shade lighter than the 2020 version, though it’s difficult to tell at first glance. The white leathers, matching laces, and logo are standard, with the writing either stitched in a light thread or colored to match the adjacent overlays. The pair replaces the neutral lining and back tongue with another instance of the cold lead tone, further separating themselves.
