For the 40th anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1, the Swoosh has prepared experimental versions of Bruce Kilgore’s famous design.
In spite of the fact that the model was initially created for basketball, the women’s PLT.AF.ORM version of the shoe has a fashion-forward look. Rearranged panels on the top of the shoe, non-standard materials, and experimental color-blocking make up the upper of this pair of sneakers. Spring-friendly colors have been included in the current design, with suede overlays on the tongue and upper heel region with debossed leopard designs. The planned Kilgore Air Force 1 “Vintage” re-release will have an off-white sole unit, similar to Kilgore’s “vintage” re-releases of the world-famous Air Force 1.
