The globally-appealing Air Max 1 is getting some international flavor. This year, Nike will release three special versions of its classic trainer. The first one pays homage to Paris with “La Ville Lumière” ( Light City ). Next up, we have ‘Wabi-Sabi’ which comes out of Japan, and lastly, there’s yet another colorway based on the global conflict in Africa – called “Conquest.”
These Nike Air Max 1 “Global” 1s are light blue and white, with a pattern on the tongue tag. There’s also an asymmetrical Swooosh that reads “Air max” in bright colors; it has two different shades of each letter, so they stand out better than others around this area. The Globe graphics can be found inside. They’d shaped like continents for all you land masses reading at home.
