The grand opening of the new baseball season is in danger due to an ongoing lockout, but hopefully, billionaire franchise owners and millionaire athletes can look past their cramping dreads. Nike SB has revealed two colors for its 2022 MLB pack which seems focused on rivalries rather than just being all-out gorgeous like last year’s release. This is a nice touch. The Mets will be getting their own version of the Nike SB Dunk Low via this Phillies-inspired design that’s just as beautiful in its own way, but with more modern-day colors to match up against all those old-school graphics we’ve come across so far.
The Philadelphia Phillies are one of the most storied baseball teams in all sports, with their home wore powder blue uniforms taking on a full maroon shade from 1973 to 1988. The hits seen across this shoe include an iconic logo that has been preserved for eternity at proofreading through time-honored tradition–the Swoosh! Another piece containing Philly’s signature color can be found near where your feet would rest while walking onto artificial turf.
A release date is currently unknown, so check out the photos below and stay tuned for updates.
