Despite Teddy Santis’ continued involvement in everything New Balance 990 Made in USA, the Queens native has teased yet another concept.
The next offering from Aimé Leon Dore frontman indulges in a “Macadamia Nut” colorway, similar to a recently surfaced New Balance 990v3. Additionally, the hairy suede and premium leather used to construct the upper comes in shades of beige and brown, with the “N” logos on the profiles being a stark “Black.” Structural molds at the lower heel and tread designed for running in 1982 keep things pitch black in the inner lining and collars. For the Spring/Summer 2022 collection, Santis updated the New Balance branding on the sock-liners returns.
The shoes will go on sale for $190 on Thursday, June 30th, at NewBalance.com, as shown in the images below. Collars, lining, and cuffs all follow suit.
