Once again, Jordan Brand is prepping to break our hearts with another cruel tease, this time for the first-ever retro of the OG Military Blue Air Jordan 4. A full-fledged retro was expected to follow the OG’s appearance on the golf course in 2021. That’s not all: Jordan Brand has an Air Jordan 4 “Military Black” in its sights.
At least two sneaker insiders have confirmed that we will have to wait even longer for the OG, as Jordan Brand is planning on releasing a blackout version of the shoe instead. There will be no Military Blue on this upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Military Black” release, which is why we’ve given it that name. Although there’s been no official confirmation, it’s safe to assume that this pair will be released in similar tooling and blocking configuration to the original, with the exception of the Jumpman at the rear and the change from blue to black on the soles.
Take a look at the Photoshop mock-ups of the release below to get an idea of what to expect on June 25 (originally listed for May).
