Jordan Brand released a limited-edition “Homage to Home” Air Jordan 1 in 2018 that split the OG Chicago and Bred colorways down the middle. With Bred blocking on the lateral and Chicago blocking on the medial, the brand pioneered a new way to a color stop the Air Jordan 1, which wasn’t seen until the recent release of the black and white Low and Mid. The Air Jordan 1 Mid Split has returned in new colorways, including cream (“Beach”) and maroon (“Cherrywood”).
The pair arrives with a complete inversion on the lateral and medial sides, precisely in line with those mentioned above. The outside features a creamy tumbled leather upper with maroon overlays. While the inside is the polar opposite. The tongues and tongue tags are also split-blocked, with cream liners and midsoles and white and marron sole units shared by both sides.
While no official release date for the new Air Jordan 1 Mid Split has been announced, available imagery for the pair suggests they will most likely be available soon. Until further notice, enjoy an exclusive first look at the release below.
