This year, the Jordan Brand released an epic “Fearless Ones” collaborative capsule with some memorable Mids. The most popular from this collection would have to be Parisian-based Maison Château Rouge who was directed by their cofounder Youssouf Fofana’s flamboyant use of color scheme taken aback from African roots for inspiration. This is the first time that Jordan Brand has released an exclusive shoe for Africa. The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Africa” will be available at select retailers and expos in 2022, so check out your local listing before it sells out.
From red to maroon, copper, and off-white there is a bevy of multi-textured panels on display in the new Air Jordan 1 Retro High ‘Multi-Color.’ The leathers range from pebbled edges all while being worked into an almost sponge-like weave. This design also includes cracked leather checks which sit at midfoot alongside white sole units featuring sailor saddle colors depending which can easily pick up under your feet when walking around town. Lastly, it’s finished off with pink tags criticizing Basketball player Michael Jordan’s roleplay as well as identifying themselves specifically for Jumpman branded shoes.
