It’s nearly hard to avoid gaming today because of the ubiquity of high-tech devices like the PS5 and RTX3080. However, the business grew predominantly in 8-Bit before the advent of Ray Tracing and VR, resulting in icons like Super Mario and Contra. And with this Air Jordan 1 Low “Old School Gaming” for youngsters, Jordan Brand appears to be paying respect to that era.
The shoe’s forefoot, lace unit, midsole, and lining are all dressed in neutral, similar to the Famicom’s white basis. The mid-panel is painted with blue and sunset skies, while the heel counter is made of green-cemented bricks. The Swoosh is above a pixelated print that resembles old visuals, making the logo look like something from the 1980s. Besides that, the lining is decorated with numerous pick-ups, such as hearts, diamonds, and fruits, while the sock liner features a gold trophy engraved with the number 6 on it.
