Throughout the past few years, France has had its fair share of tributed footwear, from the epic Unité Totale collection to Kylian Mbappé’s Nike Air Max 98 to Jordan Brand’s connection with Paris Saint-Germain. Air Jordan 1 Mid “Paris” is the first of many in-line releases that will be coming out in the near future.
The white, navy and red of the country’s Tricolor are evident in the pair, but the proportions aren’t delivered in the usual doses, and a focus on grey hues is also included. On these sneakers with tumbled leather and nylon uppers and mesh collars, white is the dominant color. After the linings and laces, the midsoles and outsoles in cement grey are introduced. The red-outlined Wings motifs contrast with the thick-set blue suede Swoosh on the lower portion of the shoe. Insoles and tongue tags with the Paris logo complete the look.
Here’s a look at the stunning Air Jordan 1 Mid “Paris,” which should be arriving soon at select Jumpman retailers. But don’t worry, we’ll keep you updated. This Air Jordan 1 Mid “Paris” isn’t Nike, Inc.’s only French-themed release, as this Air Force 1 Mid “Paris” was unveiled earlier this month.
