Two months after Kanye West’s Adidas Yeezy unit took over the mainstream sneaker consciousness, it is still going strong. The latest to get a fire lit under their feet are these new Foam Runner and Yeezy Slide “Pure” models that were released on April 26th in three colorways—all pre-orders sold out before they even started.
“Core,” “Resin” and “Pure” styles are nothing new to the slip-on Yeezy proposition, but that doesn’t make them any less covetable. The two-piece shoe is named and criticized whenever it gains steam on social media, but that doesn’t make them any less covetable. The “Core” style comes in earth tones with a refreshing green take for those who want to go against what everyone else is wearing at the moment; while “Pure” offers simple black slides as well as little kid or toddler editions that haven’t emerged yet – so we’ll wait until an official release date before buying our child out of these shoes.
