The “Be Loyal To Your School” collection, available from The Swoosh since the 1980s, has been outfitting those who wear the colors of their beloved colleges and alma maters in various products, the most current of which is the reimagined classic Nike Dunk. The Beaverton-based company has resurrected a classic from its past, this time to widespread praise, with the return of the Nike Terminator High.
After making its debut in its original “Georgetown” concept and then in snakeskin and “Noble Green” builds, the signature design is returning to the hardwood in a weathered “Black/White” style.
Former Georgetown Hoyas Michael Jackson and Patrick Ewing wore a pair of Terminator Highs with “Midnight Navy” accents; the latest iteration of the shoe features jet black accents throughout, including on the leather overlays and Swoosh, while the “Phantom” elements remain in their customary locations. The shoe is built just like it was when it was first released in 1985, right down to the aged “Pale/Vanilla Sail” sole unit underfoot, and features the same enlarged NIKE banner on the heel counter.
