Nike ISPA makes space once more for those who seek more profound meaning and connection to the items they use. The ISPA Universal, with its modularity (replaceable components for a longer-lasting product) and zero-glue construction, allows you to walk into the future of footwear.
Every element, both inside and out, serves a purpose. Because there is no glue, there is less waste. The bio-EVA foam utilized throughout the design is made from sugarcane-based feedstocks. (In other words, as we continue our Move To Zero path toward zero carbon and zero waste, we aim to replace petroleum-based ingredients with alternatives.) And each pair includes two sets of moisture-absorbing, 40% cork insoles—if the first set fails, you can return the insole rather than the entire shoe.
But don’t be fooled by all the newness. We used computer-driven data to develop a one-of-a-kind style influenced by tradition, inspired by three Nike icons (the Air Max 270, the Zoom Type, and the Solarsoft HTM). Every pair is hand-buffed, resulting in a distinct artisan finish that varies from shoe to shoe.
