Each pair is built with interlocking components and intends to use fewer materials, following Nike’s circular design concept. This concept’s major characteristic is designing with product end-of-life in mind, which results in shoes that can be readily disassembled. Glue is unnecessary because a single cording system holds everything together. There’s no need to disassemble or discard your shoes after you’re finished with them. Drop ’em off at a participating Nike shop, and they’ll be given a new lease of life through donation or recycling.
