The last remaining issue of the original Nike Dunk High “Be True” collection is a white/university red colorway commonly associated with St. John’s University. Over two years ago, we’ve seen them bring back other icons in a staggered roll-out, and finally, this weekend will see completion as they gear up for the release of their new retro model; The Dunkerque 2’s which features an all university theme including some classic Nikes such as these.
The newest addition to the Retro line is the Nike Dunk High “Championship Red” which features soft leather uppers that provide a broken-in feel. The red/white colorway has been highly coveted among 2020’s Dunk Low “St John’s” being one of the most sought-after original college designs ever released in history.
Currently, retailers are reporting a release for March 2022 – a fitting schedule considering the NCAA March Madness tournament that will be in progress. Full family sizes are coming, so stay tuned.
