It’s official: Chris Gibbs’ “Un-Cortez,” or “Sesame” and “Off-Noir” Union LA x Nike Cortez recently debuted, dressed in “Sesame” and “Off-Noir.” One of the new colorways, the “Lemon Frost,” has just surfaced in official images and will be available for purchase soon.
Compared to its forerunners, the Union LA x Nike Cortez Lemon Frost has a brighter aesthetic, thanks to its use of white suede from toe to heel. On the other hand, the woven textile is awash in bright pinks and light purples. The Swoosh, heel tab, tongue label, and the fore of the eye stays are all dressed in vivid yellows, complementing the sky blue stitching.
Un-Cortez, which will feature Union’s trademark hangtags and the Frontman logo, is expected to be released in the next few months, possibly as early as July. For now, we’ll have to settle for these official images.
