Normally, you’d expect a model like the Air Max 95 to take a backseat to the Air Max 1 and Air Max 97 for their respective anniversaries. Wrong. Contrary to popular belief, the style has just appeared in a plethora of new colors. Nike Air Max 95 “University Blue” features a light and vibrant arrangement for the season, and now the silhouettes are making a statement for the summer.
The shoes are ready for the summer with white tongue liners and piercing white midsoles. Overlays and midfoot netting are dyed a dazzling light blue, and a rollback trim is added to the vamp and heel to complete the look. In order to save weight, the upper panel is made of ripstop and the tongue is made of leather. The eye-stays, tongue, and ankle branding all feature black and white finishes, with a simple trio of black, white, and blue completing the design.
There’s no official word on when the new Air Max 95 “University Blue” will be available, but it’s safe to assume that it will arrive in select Nike stores and on Nike.com in time for the Spring/Summer. While we wait for additional information, have a look at this official photo of the couple.
