Check Out The Nike Air Force 1 Puerto Rico DQ9200-100

Nike Air Force 1 Puerto Rico

When Nike released the Nike Air Force 1 Puerto Rico back in 2020, it caused quite a stir due to a printing error that resulted in the shoe being canceled outright. The 2019 release was also controversial because the MOLA design is from the Guna tribe of Panama and Colombia.

In recent years, the Swoosh has commemorated Puerto Rico in production and design without much of a problem. And for 2022, they’ve made a modest homage to Dominoes, a popular Caribbean pastime from which they’ve taken inspiration.

With a lighter tint of sky blue, it takes inspiration from the colors featured on Puerto Rico’s flag. The Swoosh and heel tab, which reads “Nike Air” on one side and “Puerto Rico” on the other, has this fabulous shade. The provided towel and the right foot’s dubrae, whose opposite — like the commemorative home product — explicitly promote Dominoes, are also mentioned. The “Familia” clad box and the delicately organized perforations along the mid-panel and toe further commemorate the game.

The Nike Air Force 1 Puerto Rico in its 2022 iteration, complete with a graphic-covered sock-liner and references to “Nueva York” and “Viejo San Juan,” may be seen in all its glory down below. No release date has been confirmed yet, but we can expect to learn more about it in the coming months as development progresses.
