As part of Jordan Brand‘s ongoing celebration of college PEs, the Air Jordan 5 UNC has been scheduled for release in 2023, according to a press release. The “Michigan” and “Oregon” hues were released in 2019 and 2020, respectively, and Mike’s Alma Mater is the third in the series. The iconic heel patches are returning, this time with high-quality nubuck uppers and other unique features. University Blue is painted on the nubuck uppers, and tonal mesh, eye stays laces, and liners complete the look. The translucent outsole pods have a faint blue tint, and reflective silver tongues sit on top of the OG Metallic-inspired sole components.
In Spring 2023, the Air Jordan 5 UNC will be released, and @zSneakerheadz has provided us with a detailed Photoshop mock-up of the shoe. For $225, you can get your hands on the Air Jordan 5 “UNC.
