Even though the Air Jordan 2 Low has largely flown under the radar, it has received much attention over the past two years. Before spring arrived, the silhouette debuted in a “UNC to CHI” color scheme for women.
The unreleased retro was first teased in mid-November of 2022, and it looks like an Air Jordan 1 from this year’s Fearless Collection. Michael Jordan’s journey from Chapel Hill to Chicago has been widely chronicled, but it wasn’t until recently that Brand Jordan told the tale through footwear. (In 2017, NIKE, Inc. released a two-shoe pack based on a similar concept, which included the Converse Fastbreak Mid and the Air Jordan 2 “Alumni Game.)
Most of the duo favors the “White” and “Sail” configuration because it puts even the most subtle contrast in the limelight. Branding appears in “Fire Red” on the tongue and accents on the sides, and “Dark Powder Blue” is placed on the spine panel of the shoe. The UNC color is also featured on the sole. Collectively, these elements contribute to the continued growth of the Jordan 2 Low and Jumpman brands.
The release date for the pair is March 8, but until then, you can check out some official photos of them below and hope for the best on nike.com. Eventually, we settled on a price of USD 150.
