Originally debuted way back in the ’90s during one of MJ’s Championship years, the Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs” will be returning next year in 2022. This year, the Air Jordan 12 will be turning 25. This means that it is time for a celebratory retro release. The original 1996-1997 season had one of these shoes as well back then before they were removed from shelves in 2006 only to return again with an Anniversary edition in 2004 and 2012 which both releases happened during playoff campaigns so this year’s rendition should also count towards those anniversaries too (if you want them).
The shoe is set to return with a vengeance, this time in black and white. The leather base has been given an updated touch of class as well; it’s coupled with sleek chrome laces on top while red branding can be found throughout for that classic Chicago Bulls feel you’re looking out right now.
