The Air Jordan 12 “Playoff” has been around for 25 years and it’s still one of the most popular shoes in basketball. In 2022, to celebrate this milestone anniversary from 1997-2022 we will see a reissue with the “Playoff” colorway as well.
We all know the Air Jordan 12 as “The Playoffs.” For its 15th anniversary, Michael Jordan wore these shoes in 97-98 during his final season with the Chicago Bulls where they eventually defeated Utah Jazz at home and then went on to win 3 games back-to-back against the Phoenix Suns team who had already beaten them once that year. This 25th version should stay true to OG release style which has black leather uppers alongside textured white mudguard; red branding on heel/tongue gives it a bulls-themed color scheme perfect for any Basbold.
The Air Jordan 12 will be released soon and it’s set to happen via SNKRS. The 2012 version of this shoe has been released already, but stay tuned for more details on the 25th-anniversary release.

Update (06/18/21): The Air Jordan 12 “Playoff” is an all-new release from the AJ12 line, which will be released this year in December. The sneaker features classic elements like its black Jumpman symbol on top of white lettering for “Air” and red color at heel tab to represent success or victory respectively; however, there are some differences between it when compared with previous versions such as leather material used instead of synthetics (which was seen back then) making these more durable than ever before.
Update (06/18/21): According to sneakerheads, we can expect a release of the Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs” on February 19th to coincide with NBA All-Star Weekend 2022.
