This year, the Air Jordan 1 Mid is a major player in Jordan Brand’s late-summer/fall lineup, with a slew of new iterations already revealed. As of today, a new Air Jordan 1 University Blue in various materials can be added to that list.
The release’s front end is pretty simple, but its back end and tongue have a few unique characteristics that make it stand out. In addition to a netted tongue and nylon collar reminiscent of retro runners, these shoes have an overly athletic feel. From there, light grey suede ankle flaps and heel caps with University Blue Wings motifs are delivered. The white and blue sole unit completes the look.
Despite the lack of a confirmed release date, our first look at the Air Jordan 1 University Blue suggests they will arrive sometime in the second half of 2018. So enjoy this first-look release until more information becomes available.
