Shoe brands have already planned and produced their allotments for the Fourth of July celebrations even though the holiday is still months away. This patriotic Air Jordan 1 Mid “USA 2.0”, which has appeared in official Nike imagery, is expected to be part of that schedule.
Unlike the nubuck-clad release of 2020, this new scheme for 2022 features uppers made entirely of leather, with sail as the pair’s anchor. The forefoot, eye stays, and collar are covered in red leather, while the ankle flap and heel caps are navy blue. The overlocked-stitched, denim-clad, dual-layered Swoosh serves as the pair’s defining feature. A two-tone sole unit and sail tongues and laces round out the look.
