The Air Jordan 12, the Air Jordan 4, and the scrapped Air Jordan 8 have all appeared in recent years as winterized versions of the brand’s signature silhouette. Air Jordan 1 Element GORE-TEX will debut in the latter half of 2021 in two colorways – black and white. The GORE-TEX Air Jordan 1 Element “Light Curry” has now been revealed, adding a third to the collection.
It has a similar multi-material construction to the recently-previewed pairs, but this Light Curry pair is the brightest and most eye-catching yet. The ripstop uppers and midsoles get a sail-inspired colorway, which is followed by a slew of thick leather overlays in the same shade. Before being twisted by black tongues and reflective silver swooshes, it buys into this OG-style a little more. Nike’s signature red tongue branding is joined by GORE-TEX branding and tortoiseshell-like outsoles to complete the design of the new Wings silhouette.
