ADER error, a South Korean design collective, comprises artists from various fields, including fashion, graphic design, architecture, etc. Over the years, the group has gained quite a cult following. Following a highly coveted collaboration with ZARA, the brand is turning its focus back to sneakers and working with Converse on a reconstructed Chuck 70.
Following a fleeting appearance in the brand’s Spring/Summer ’23 lookbook, the upcoming ADER error x Converse Chuck 70 has finally been unveiled on feet. The shoe toys around with the famous shoe without sacrificing its most identifiable elements. A large portion of the cooperation is loyal to the original design in this piece, despite being partially hidden by a few canvas pieces painted in the collective’s distinctive shade of blue. Additionally, pairs come with dual laces and a dubrae that is modeled after the rear tab of the silhouette, in addition to the worn-in midsoles and cap toes.
See the image below for a closer look at the ADER error x Converse Chuck 70. Although a certain release date has not yet been announced, we will likely see these in the first half of 2023.
